If you are a newcomer when it comes to coffee enema or you are looking forward to performing coffee enema for the very first time, follow the below-mentioned steps to make your first enema session an easy walk.
The first step of performing a coffee enema is to prepare the coffee solution. For that, take 2 cups of filtered water in a pot and allow it to boil. Turn down the heat to low and add 2 tbsp. of organic coffee grounds to the water. Let the coffee simmer for around 10 minutes. Strain the coffee to separate the coffee grounds from the coffee and add 4 cups of room temperature filtered water to it. Transfer half of the liquid to a rubber enema bag and perform the enema. Retain the enema for 10-15 minutes and then eliminate it.
Once you eliminate the enema along with the fecal matter from your system, see how you feel. For first timers, it is very common to experience dizziness and nausea. This happens because a lot of toxins are getting removed from the body in one go.
As you get used to the procedure, you can slowly up the amount of coffee you use and can also use the entire 2-quart of the solution. Coffee enemas are a powerful tool and can have extreme detox reactions sometimes. Thus, it is always best to perform an enema under the guidance of a professional, just in case.
Even if you’ve gotten really comfortable with the procedure of coffee enema, it is advised not to use more than 2 tbsp. coffee to 1 quart of water.
Things you need to be careful about
- Check the water temperature- Before you perform the enema or even transfer the enema solution to the enema bag, make sure to check the temperature of the water. The water should be lukewarm to touch; it should neither be too hot or too cold.
- Lubricate the nozzle- Before you insert the enema nozzle; make sure to lubricate it with some Vaseline or coconut oil. Also, do not insert the enema nozzle any deeper than three inches; any more than this may injure you.
- Don’t forget to replenish the lost minerals– Along with the toxic waste, a bunch of minerals and electrolytes get washed away from the body during the process of an enema. Coconut water, mineral-infused water, fresh vegetables and fruit juices are a must after performing the enema.
